clutch question

Default clutch question

just wondering what is a good price for a clutch install in my 2000 audi s4? also what would be a good clutch for my car? i was thinking about the rs4 clutch...also is the flywheel necceasary or can i just get away with getting the clutch? thanks for the help

rs4 clutch is just fine, you'll have a noticable difference in engagment and grip, I wouldn't imagine that your flywheel is damaged, if it is just maybe get it re-surfaced

I got quoted 980 to get my clutch installed... So i just started doing it myself... Still doing it lol... I regret not paying and getting over with it...

Dealer is about 1,000 labor. Parts are around 500 unless you go with a high stage or racing clutch. If you call around some transmission shops you can find a better rate. I called until I found someone that knew Audis and had done several S4s.
