Default Daytime running lights...

I just bought a Canadian '01 S4 and want to disable the daytime running lights. Before I start looking at wiring diagrams myself, has anyone out there done this? Also, although the factory foglights aren't there, does anyone know if the wiring harness is present? I know the switch is in place and appears to work, but again, I haven't looked at any wiring diagrams.

Thanks in advance.

Everything has been done at one time or another with these cars. I don't know about any spec differences with Canadian models, but it shouldn't be a problem. Why do you want to disconnect?

Why aren't there any factory fogs on the car? Sounds odd.

I want to disconnect them simply because I don't like them. As far as the fog lights go, I suppose they weren't put on the car since it had daytime running lights, since they sort of serve the same purpose... although imo, the fog lights look much better... hence my desire to do the changes

Gotcha!
Have you checked with AudiWorld. It's a huge forum, and the guys there can be a bit snobby, but (you can search without registering) the tech section and the archives are a great resource. I'd look there for tech articles on this job.
