Is it a difficult task to replace the diverter valves on a B5 S4?

How long does it take?

difficulty on a scale of 1-10 it is about....a 1

first time? should take you about 20 minutes tops

just make sure you have some replacement clamps for the stupid audi crimp style clamps. honestly, when I did mine, the clamps were the most difficult part

 

They are right on top, remove covers, remove clamps, pull old dvs, reverse w/ new parts.


Should take 5-10 minutes. And have a flathead screw driver one time clamp removal tool, side cutters(dykes) to remove clamps.

 

Are they at the bottom part of the y pipe? (closest to the grill?) Can you go into a little more detail please!

the silver things are diverter valves. your will be black if stock.
