Ummm - another newbie question. I'm hearing a whoshing sound under acceleration and I've read its probably the bi-valves. Is this the same as diverter valves or something different?

Are you sure it's not the turbo's spooling up? You should not hear the DV's at all. If you do hear a noise like it, then you have a boost leak some where.

I have that sound under acceleration and have full boost and no boost leak (pressure tested). It's normal.

Hmm - I just don't seem to remember that sound when I got the car a couple months ago. But I love this car so much I feel like a parent whose kid coughs and are sure they're dying of something. Sometimes I feel it's down on boost other times not. I'm thinking maybe I just don't know how to drive the car properly to build boost when I want it. I just ordered some Hyperboost DV's - Rich at Stratmosphere gave me the same price as the forges. I let you know if it affects anything. Thanks everyone as always for the advice.
