My 01 Avant S4 has the speakers in the doors in the back and I am not sure if that is because I do not have a rear shelf like the Sedan or if the Sedan has speakers on the rear deck and in the rear doors...

I am just wondering, I bought new speakers and looking for a DIY article on it and see nothing...

Theyre in the rear deck...

 

and the rear doors... we have eight that i know of.... 1 tweeter and 1 mid range per front door; 1 midrange per back door, 2 midranges on rear deck...

at least my sedan has them in the back door also...
