i just purchased the ecs timing belt kit with all the bells and whistles. Does anyone have any suggestions on anything else i should maintnence or upgrade while in there? i was thinking of upgrading my ic's, so any help on which ic's are the best bang for my buck to replace them with would also greatly help.

pulley kit?
snub mount?
front mount vs. side mount?

 

If you have the extra $'s yeah go for ecs's pully's not many people do that considering the relatively low gains for the money. But that just might be the edge you need... Also I have always but my money into awe for their tuning and engineering so I'd prefer their ic's, there is another popular brand or company I just cant think of it right now. Definately the snub mount. Are you doing this yourself? Cause if your looking to extend your tinkering/ job take a look at those cam seals. If they are even looking like a molecule of oil can get out change them, but if not that really means that at this point they are an awesome seal and will last your car till the end.

 

yeah I would go with the awe IC, great SMIC for the buck. I would skip the awe snub and jsut go for the 034 motorsports snub with new cage for about 60 dollars. It is alot better the the awe snub. Other then what, audi ops said also, there is really not to much more unless you pull the whole engine out. as far as the pulleys go skip them, and put the money in to something better like fueling or fuel pump.

Also the cam seals come with the ecs timing belt kit so i'll do those too. i think i am going to go with awe for the ic's. thanks again and any other info is more than welcome.

thermostat, water pump

 

I got the ECS Tuning Ultimate Plus Timing Belt Kit With ECS Cam Locking Tool which includes the thermostat and water pump. I also ended up ordering the awe intercoolers, apr pulley kit, goodridge lines, 034 snub mount and a cabin filter. Anything else anyone can think of will be appreciated. (I really want an RS4 front bumper but damn they're pricey!!!)
