Try plugging the original module back in and make sure it's secure. My A4 had this issue and it turns out the module wasn't plugged securely.

 

everythings plugged in fine and my old pump is definitely ruined, after taking it apart i dumped16pieces of broken plastic on the counter. the old pump runs and the electronics work okay, it's just the door locks don't work. maybe i'll just replace the 16 pieces with one piece if theres no easyway to reprogram.
