that's normal on stock K03's. the power will dip as you approach redline. max boost occurs somewhere around 3.5-5K rpm (can't remember exactly). look for K03 boost graphs online. but with K04's and a chip, the S4 keeps pulling all the way to redline.

 

I've noticed this "phenomena" as well and it's normal.

What if u hear the dink dink dink dink right when u turn the car off after proper cool down? Does that still mean they r fixin to go? It doesnt do it while driving from what i can hear

 

I dont know if therres really a sign that theyre going.. Youll start to a hear a bit of a dentist drill noise.. But the general rule of thumb is that if you have to ask if you think they may be going out.. is that theyre fine. Youll KNOW when theyre going. I loud whine with lots of smoke..
