Easiest way to replace alternator?
#2
I'd follow one of the timing belt write-ups, since once you get to removing the serpentine belt, the alternator is just two bolts, a nut for the power cable, and unclipping a control wire.
Or, I found this on AW.
Remove the bumper and loosen radiator support and slide support forward.
Remove serpentine belt.
Disconnect battery.
Remove pass side lower metal and rubber intercooler hoses.
Remove wiring from back of alternator.
Loosen alternator and move it up to the front of the motor toward lock carrier and take it out from the top.
You may need to swap pulleys depending on what you get.
If the old/new manufacturers are different the pulleys may not swap correctly.
Just make sure the pulley lines up like the old one did so you don't throw your serp belt off.
