I am currently looking at a 2005.5 S4 as a daily driver. I am curious about the "B" designation I have seen on some posts regarding the generation or series of each S4 model. Please enlighten this NOOB with years applicable to each series?

 

B5 2000 to 2002
B6 2003-2005
B7 2006
[8D]
