AHH! Back again... This time I bought a second hand GIAC ECU from a guy on the forums, and it needed a recode to fit my 2001.5 S4. After I did the recode I took it for a spin and I had 5 gears in reverse and and one gear forward. Obviously I had some words with the car... I went back into VCDS and the old code was still there! No matter how many times or different codes to login I use nothing changes! Please help!

 

thats crazy! sounds like you made your engine run backwards. post up on audizine or quattro world.
