ESP EPC then Emissions lights. Car in limp mode
Ive not driven the car for a few days and 30 mins into driving it yesterday the cars EPC and ESP lights were on. Later the Emissions light came on too.
When i put my foot down nothing happens although the car drives slowly - im guessing thats what limp mode is.
Got the car home and did search here but theres loads of stuff and i got worried.
How do i get the error codes? Im in the UK in the KT9 area (Kingston upon Thames). Im guessing i either buy a thing to get the codes off or find someone local who has one.
Any ideas what this might be? Kinda worried is going to be a nasty expensive surprise.
Thanks for your time guys.

I would post in my regional area (I know its limited for the UK on this site) that you need help from someone with a Vagcom (not sure if thats what you use over there or not. Im sure someone can pull the codes for you.
It may turn out to be something simple. Just a sensor or something.

Well ive got the fault codes:
Read Fault Code
18047 P1639
Accelerator Position
Sensor 1/2
(G79/G185):
Implausible Signal
P1639 -
Short circuit to
Ive cleared them as the car has now reverted to normal.
Am hoping this is just a glitch in the throttle sensor thingum
