i found a supersprint exhaust cat back system for almost 3000$ candian(installed)..what do you guys think?
its for my B7 S4 ..i think its quite expensive!

 

I personaly wouldn't spend that amout of money on exhaust, All the other companies are gonna be coming out with stuff for alot less than that, and as for instaltion, any local muffler shop will be able to put any of them on pretty cheap.

 

u know what i kinda thougth the same,,its too much money for exhaust .if it was max 1500 i would go for it but 3000 mm not worth it i guess..plus i wouldnt be able to get half of the vlaue if i sell the car later on..but supersprint suppose to be very good thoo.but i will wait untill spring.thx anyway

 

Yep...$3000 CAD is really expensive for a catback system. I am not familiar with supersprint...but a miltek catback system for a b7 s4 lists at $1299 USD....about $1500 CAD....Installation shouldn't be more than $150...

I can't remember the 'claimed' hp gain with the system. I think with the fullback system they claim around 25hp...but I am not sure about that number.

Here is a link to the stratmosphere website with info on the system. You might also look at labree, as they seem to be another popular exhaust for the b6/b7 s4s.

Try a search on Milltek at audiworld and you you should be able to find some sound clips. I put on a resonated system and like it. Not too loud in the cabin.
