Anyone think it would be a bad idea to go straight pipe after the DP's?

 

Its loud. You may find it annoying, but from a performance standpoint HELL YEAH.

Just a thought, how about electric exhaust cutouts after the downpipes?

 

plus i dont know about where you live but i know here in virginia id get pulled over and get a ticket for about 2 grand.

 

i dont think its that loud though.

 

trust me a 3-4" pipe with no resonater or muffler WILL be loud.

I was thinking of cutting out the resinator to just have the back muffler. I think that will be good enough. If a Harley can be that loud, why can't we be a little less??

 

Before I got downpipes I went with a straight 3.5" exhaust from the cat-back, no mufflers, no resonators. Sounded great, and wasn't too bad for me. No drone either.

Now I have no cats and the same cat-back, it roars even more.
