Default extended warrenty possibilities?

So my 00 s4 is getting older, hit 117k yesterday. I am worried about the turbos going out because it will cost an arm and leg to have the motor pulled and have them replaced. I would like to go a head and get some ko4's if the engine is out of the car already. Is there any extended warrentys either through audi or a 3rd party that covers turbo's? Would it be possible for them to pay for ko3's and I can cover the difference? any information is helpful. thanks in advance.

i got my warranty through dependable warranty group...they covered everything up to 3000 dollars for a turbo replacement leaving me with a 1500 bill which is still better that 4500...anyway they will only replace with factory parts only, any upgrade is considered voiding the warranty and i have a feeling most other warranty companies have the same deal soo one of two things can happen, 1 you just stick with stock parts, or 2 you sweet talk your mechanic to hookin you up and pay under the counter for the upgraded parts and have him tell the warranty company something else(shifty eyes)

makes sense. luckily I know my mechanic well enough to probably have that happen. I am assuming that i would have to tell the warranty people everything is bone stock on the car also.

yes, they will ask you that. the trick is to take as much as you can from them cuz they'll try to **** you over somehow if you're not careful

Thanks I was able to get a 5 year 100k bumper to bumper for $2300 with my student discount. I am sure it will pay for its self.

If I were you, I would just buy a powertrain warranty from an authorized audi dealership. That will cover your turbos. You can choose how long you want the warranty. Should be in the range of 2-4 grand but they give you finance options. For me all I have to do is put down 10% of which warranty I want when i go to purchase it, so basically like 200-400 bucks down and then finance it and they have 0% interest for 18 months. Then you could chip your new turbos and save up for K04s in the meantime. Thats what I would do if i were you.

I paid $2000 for my warranty but i got it when i purchased my car there spendy but worth it if you plan on keeping the car i'm actually suprised that they still cover our cars seeing as theres probably a 90 percent chance there gonna lose money.
