First Time Audi s4 buyer 2000 K03 question.
Hello all,
I have been looking at a 2000 S4 used with around 143k miles on it, when I called in to inquire on the vehicle and ask if I could take it to my mechanic to check it out the dealer immediately informed me that one of the turbos was beginning to go out.
Now I have been checking out this forum for a few days now trying to find any help to this and have seen that K03 go out after time especially at the milage it has on the vehicle, my question to you all is am I able to scoop up this car and run off 1 turbo for the time being until I get home? Also will I be able to drive this a few hundred miles to get back home (currently in Denver driving down to New Mexico)?
Any feedback is welcome, this board has already helped me so much in a few days of lurking for info.

This one? 2000 Audi S4 Quattro
Making it back to NM will be a dice roll for sure.
fwiw, The gauge placement is kinda wack and the trim paint leaves some to be desired as well. Bumper looks pretty beat, missing a fog light, missing floor mats, there should also be a black plastic pad for the rear plate to mount against, and I shudder to think what the hood looks like under that cover. The trim, gauge and clear cornered lights say it was owned by someone who probably drove it hard so the tip trans may have some underlying issues to go with the dying turbo(s). On the plus Hibiscus is pretty dang rare for S4s, the BBS look nice and might already be stage 1.
