Forced induction B6?
I am interested in finding forced induction for the B6 S4. I love the power, but I beleive that with a low PSI supercharger, or Turbo kit, this car would be able to handle it with most of the stock components, as they are already pre set for the higher torque that the car already produces. Are their any specific companies that work on "one-off" set ups for this car, or Audi's in general?
I take it you the v8 s4 and from what ive read you cant have forced induction because simply theres not enough room for it. I have heard you can have a turbo because there smaller and can hang in the back.
I do not see an issue. Why could a twin screw supercharger sit on top of the engine, and simply change the hood out? Look at the old american cars, that have huge superchargers and intakes? They have them sticking out of the hood. Plus the G35 has a supercharger kit, that goes on top of the engine, and they have a hood to relace the stock one that will fit the supercharger.
I agree with vananron, change out the hood and you're good to go. I expect to see one or the other (twin turbo or supercharger) pretty soon. can't find anything definite on whats coming with the new RS4, some say twin turbo 3.0 v6, some say twin turbo v8... I think its just a matter of time before forced induction comes to the B6 V8, it's just screeming for it.
