Hey guys, i was wondering if any of yall used a G-tech pro to measure ur performance? r they very accurate? I was thinkin about gettin one for my bday comin up, what do yall think? thanks

never used one but i know they were very popular a few years back - haven't heard much lately....sorry I couldn't do better on the help...

i actually used a gtech tool before well a person i know it was putting out 210 to the wheels of a stock audi s4 it sounds abt rite

They are pretty accurate.......My friends use them all the time. They are within 5-10 hp to the wheels. But it usually gives u a bit more then what u actually put down.

I have one of the older ones. It works very well and ive tried it many times with consistent results so I can only assume its pretty accurate. I havent used it on my s4 yet but i will definately do that before I get it chipped so I can compare.

Just because its consistant doesnt mean its accurate. Usually the give you times that are slightly faster than actual times and hp figures that are slightly higher than actual. So in that respect its more of a guestimite. Kinda like the mpg display in the car. Its probably in the ballpark but not quite right. However its consistancy does allow you to measure one thing quite well and that is the affect modifications have on your vehicle. Its a pretty good tool at showing improvements from mods.

I ordered my G-tech Pro SS today!! Sooks, u can drive to Arkansas and try her out if u want to Ill b sure to post numbers when i get her

ya know its tempting... i met the love of my life down in south padre and she went to u of arkansas. Sadly, i only got her first name, and was drunk and got the number wrong... oh man, biggest mistake ever. im such a sucker for southern belles with the accent.
