Default Going Stage III+

hey guys just had a question for ya, just got a B5 S4 stock and am wanting a little more power. well not a little more, Stage III+. And i wanted to get teh kit from AWE with the manifolds as well, but not sure. i was also going to throw in an cat back exhaust and some rs4 smic. but i know the price they have on the website but does anyone know what the final cost was including labor. cuz i have about 12,000 to put down towards this project and would really like to hear if there are maybe some garages in the area that might be the most cost efficient. i live in fort collins. so if any one can help me out with any of my questions please let me know? thank you again

Not sure where Ft. Collins is exactly( I didnt Google it) but I am getting my S4built up from AWE, including a fresh engine. $12k is a good place to start. But what do you want to to with all the horsepower? For myself, I'm going to switch classes inSCCA(was CSP with an RX7) and try my hand at the BBOR.

I guess you want someone else to do all the work, which I agree with because I dont have the time and I'm not in the states curently. As far as the manifolds, thats up to you. I think you can get yours port matched, get new gaskets, and get them coated with some thermal barrier stuff. Way cheaper than outright buying a new set.

Look at all the companies that have kits (AWE, APR, ASP...just to name a few) and see what they have to offer. Price them up and go that direction if you feel so inclined. No one can tell you how to spend your money. Good luck and dont forget to look over every aspect of your car if you want make more horsepower.

It will take all your $12k & maybe a little more.
it's about 40hrs to do a STG III+ setup, so add the labor rate X40.
You NEED DP's & exhaust, $1000-3000
Ic's $1000-1400
Clutch $1000-2500

Brakes, suspension, any maintaince things, or fixes, $0-8000

IMHO, skip the manifolds, & put that $$ into other things.
