Hi. I've been looking at the S4 line for a month or two, being doing some research and ect. All I can say is I like the S4's a lot, but I'm still kind of curious, how much faster is the newer S4 compared to the old 2.7L one? I've seen it in a lot of places that the S4 is 0-60 in 5.6, but is that the old S4 or the new one? And if it is the new/old one, what's the difference between the 2 in speed, talking 0-60 wise.

Another question is, where would I have to buy Audi parts? I've heard that getting a new exhaust system can boost HP by like 50-60, does anyone have any websites they can recommend that sells Audi upgrades for a nice price? Thanks in advance.

 

Your going to have to take one out for a test drive the power in the B6 S4 is amazing over the B5 S4

different web sites have different 0-60 times, the old S4 u can tweak out to smoke the new V8. The new V8 has some mods to it like exhuast chip that stuff. U can find stuff online or ebay thats where i buy most of my stuff. Personally i say test drive both see which one u like better seeing how u already know alot about both or the cars

 

if anyone could just guess or give a rough estimate on either of these answers, can a b5 audi s4 get 0-60 in less then 6 as STOCK (i WILL later on get upgrades) or beat a 1998 mustang gt in a drag race?

Ive seen b5 S4's 0-60 range from 5.4 to 5.9 seconds. B5's definatly do NOT getin anywhere near 50hp from an exhaust, however im not sure on what gains the V8 gets.
