Here's the story:

Hit the clover leaf off ramp at a rather brisk pace of 45 mph (fast for that ramp) and 3K rpm, got onto the road to work, and about 2 minuts after hitting the off ramp, as I was pulling into the parking lot, the oil pressure light flashed on the info screen and beeped at me fore about 10 seconds or so. It then went off. I shut the car down in the parking spot (the soonest I could shut it down, as I couldnt stop in the road)about 40 seconds after the light went off, and checked the oil. It was half way between the high and low, normal color and thickness. Topped it off with the quart I carry in my trunk, and cranked it back up, no light, no noise, all seems ok.

Question is this: Did I trigger the light by hitting the off ramp fast without the oil topped off?

Is there any easy wat to physically check for oil pressure?

Well if it didn't happen right away again after you put more oil in it just wait it out, and then if it happens again you will have to dig deeper and possibly find a problem.
