help me with nasty noise coming from rear
Once I start going over 20mph i get a repetitive noise that sounds like it is coming from my passenger rear tire. it gets worse and louder as i speed up, and it goes away when I take a left turn, but doesnt change on a right turn. I also have vibrations in the wheel, but i know that all four of my rims have minor dents/bent. Is that prob just my tire that needs replacing or could it be something else?
Sounds like a rear wheel bearing.
and it goes away when I take a left turn
I agree with the other fellows for the wheel bearing. Mine did the exact same noise
2 months ago and it was wb.
Dont think you can do it your self unless you have a 2 tons press and a couple hours
to spend. It's a PITA job.
Good Luck !

Well just got back from the stealership. All four of my wheel bearsing are shot, the right rear one is just completely gone which is why the noise is coming from there. They also said the tie rods in the rear have to be replaced. Luckily my extended factory warrenty covers all the wheel bearings, but tie rods are not coverd. What's with that? I understand brakes and clutch and tires etc., but I figured tie rods would be covered. But the control arms are fine so next tuesday the work is being done. In conclusion, you all are right it was the wheel bearing
