Default Help...Problem

Bad news fellas. I think my clutch is going.

Driving home tonight on 76 in King of Prussia I tried to accelerate relatively hard and needless to say I got nowhere...All I got was an engine reving up to 5800 rpms before I decided I wasn't going anywhere fast. I could also smell my clutch even while driving on the highway. At first I thought it was operator fault, I tried again to accelerate while in 2nd gear and nothing.

1st gear is okay,
2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th all garbage. A lawn mower could beat me in a race.

What are everyone elses diagnosis for my issue?

What kind of options do I have...?

oh definetly uprgrading...

and you would agree that it is the clutch too...

i was looking at the awe rs4 clutch at a nice $490, but how much would installtion be? Anyone had an experience with how long and how much this is going to cost me? I was reading another post and someone was quoted at 3000+ at a dealership...I would have laughed.

got my car towed to a tranny shop...tomorrow morning they are gonna look at the clutch situation. by the sounds of it, seems like i may not have to fork out money for a clutch...possible cylinder issue.
