Default RE: standalone over ecu programming?

What standalone unit?
Chip $500
Motec ECU $2500 for the unit only.

You will get highest gains with a SA ECU. It will also grow with the car, just needing a retune
when you change things.

The BIG downside, is cost, install cost is much higher, you need to tune it, you need to get a
wiring harness for the car, injectors, coils, sensors, etc, then code it to the dash cluster.

Do you see where I am going? It's going to be 20X the cost of getting a chip. If the car is
"stock" other then the ECU, your not going to gain what you want from the cost over the chip.
I'd bet there would be less then a 5% difference in HP & torque between them.
