Hi,

I'm looking to import an S4 from the US to Canada, the RIV (Registrar of Imported Vehicles) says it's not allowed for import. But my friends say that it's not allowed because of the bumper being expensive to fix after a minor accident and using a different bumper would allow it for import (plus daytime running lights of course).

Anyways, does any one know if there is a way to import an S4 to Canada? Anyone done this?

Yes, you can import Audi's and Hondas. The official list through RIV is here http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety/impor...list/VAFUS.pdf and it says that all 92-07 Honda EDIT:"passenger cars" are okay. The list also says some A4's are okay to import, just not S4's, but I am trying to find a legal way around that. Maybe changing the components that make it not importable (from what I hear this is just a light/bumper issue). But I need more info before I can proceed, just in case there is no way
