What do you guys think the best intake for a B5 S4 is?

AWE S-FLow- Gives 10-11 crank hp... but no aggresive sound
ABD Racing Quick Flow Filter System- This looks like the nicest system... looks like CAI.. porbably most hp, and the nicest TONE...(how can it be illegal)
EVO “Power Series” High Flow - im not sure...

are there any more good ones out there... any cold air intakes?

 

The ABD unit is a bit of overkill. You're paying for parts that are already within the stock system.

The AWE and EVO units are equally good; each has a devoted fan base. Some like the enclosed protected system of the AWE that utilizes the ducted air through the stock intake, while others like the open unprotected and unducted system of the EVO.

It's up to you. The EVO "looks" hot (and may very well pull hot air for that matter), while the AWE is very stealth and probably pulls more fresh cooler air).

 

i would go with the AWE becaus ethe EVOMS's looks like it would pull in alot of hot air.

I'm probably gonna be getting the AWE one as well. My wife is pretty adamant that this car needs to remain more civilized (ride,and sound) than the WRX.

 

The Evo and the Awe systems both look good to me. In the pic of the Evo system the caption under the pic says with the factory cover and fresh air duct not in place, so it looks like it uses a heatshield and the factory fresh air duct to supply cool air. Both systems will supply cool air so if stealth is what you want go with the AWE system, otherwise go with the EVO system.
www.lltek.com offers a similar system to the EVO kit.

i thought i was all for the AWE S-FLO intake... and then i was reading the website with the Audi S4 Time slips...

Most of the audi's with the higher performance. use the EVO intake. They are in the 11sec 1/4miles

only a couple people have the AWE s-flo and there in 13secs

help what shold i get if i want the best performance and the most air.. for a high performance car
