KO3s toast, getting KO4's
Just recently I have lost my passenger side turbo. Now I am looking to upgrade to KO4's. My current setup is a Stage 2+ 2001 S4 (silver). However, I am getting different opinions on how I can do it. I don't want to buy the complete kit yet. Can anyone tell me if its healthy to run the KO4s without the upgraded injectors, MAF etc... Other suggestions would be great as well
Im pretty sure you can go K04's alone. you have any good shops down in Rutland? I will run it by my boss (work at an Audi/VW/porsche shop) and am looking to do the same thing unless I get a full kit from AWE.
Your questions will be found in a simple search.
Yes, you can run just K04's, you need the inlet pipes, turbo's & hardware. GIAC makes a chip for this, that you just need the chip & 5b FPR.

I have K04s with appropriate inlet pipes, ect. I am running on all my stock fueling, ICs, Intake, the only thing i have done is upgrade the 710A DVs to 710Ns, and a Samco TBB. The car runs great, I didnt know you could get a chip and FPR for just this set-up. What kind of power are we talking about with chip? or is it just to match the a/f better? I should be looking into this while I save for fueling for stage 3.
