Aside from the bolts and new gaskets and oil lines is anything else needed to bolt on KO4's to a '00 s4? Do you need different intake piping? will the stock downpipes work? granted you would have less power but im asking if it would bolt up.

 

You will need new piping, check ECS tuning for that. The stock downpipes will bolt up. Also, see about "piggie pipes" (gutted pre-cats). Inexpensive alternative to costly dp's. You will be happy you did!

 

i'm doing a ko4 upgrade myself currently. all you really need is the gasket kit that is made from ecstuning.com. however, it is best to get a completely new exhaust system (downpipes and cat back). the problem with piggie pipes are that they don't give you the performance you really need for a ko4 upgrade. it's expensive, but to get the ultimate potential out of your ko4 turbos, the best investment. also, it would be a good idea to get a new fueling kit. in mid-june i am going to get one from awe-tuning as well as a new dv's, and bipipe from apr.
