Loyal BMW guy, New 2008 M3, 09 X5 4.8, and 08 750. Looking for a vert S4. Wife had 06 A4 and loved it! What should I look for? Love my BMW forums and very helpful. So I fiqured I WOULD START HERE!

 

So you're looking for an S4 cabriolet (convertible) with 32k on the clock for $32,000 with a CPO warranty? Personally the CPO warranties are crap nowadays, even at BMW, all manufactures really. They don't cover nearly as much stuff, like CV boots, Brakes, clutches, wipers, tires, brake rotors, headlights, navigation units, radio componets, etc. its a complete joke. Unless you blow your engine or trans (not likely) there is no point buying a CPO warranty. I would buy another vehicle privately owned for a lot less without the waranty and save yourself a few grand. The cabriolet like many other convertible models do have problems with the top more they should, and they should be greased along the windshield with some silicone every few months (which no one will tell you) so you won't get a terrible popping noise from the top. Other than that the 4.2L motor and tip trans won't give you any trouble as long as you keep on up the maintenace, should keep up with your M3 as well
