Default Looking to buy a 2006 S4

Hello everyone!
Im looking for a little advice.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2006 Audi A4, with 59k miles. Titanium Grey, auto, navi, cw package, clean clean car, clean title.

The car is about 5 hours away and I know i can buy it for 21,900. I might be able to grind him a little more.

So, is this a reasonable price for this car?

What kind of maintence can I expect to be doing within the next 10k miles, 20k, 30k?

Also, what is the life span on a car like this? Will it run past 100k?

I don't know to much about audi maintence, so anything will help!

Thanks,
Justin

That is a decent price! However, check your Audi dealer for a pre-certified car - dealers are willing to work with you right now. Might be worth paying a couple of extra grand for 2yrs of warranty as these cars can be expensive to repair (headlights and clutch can be pricey for example). The Xenon lights can easily fog up (happened on mine - warranty took care of it though) and the clutch can last a long time if not abused but you need to know the history of the car to know that. 100k - depends on how much you abuse it - easy to drive these things hard...

Sounds like a good price, but I would also look at getting a certified one from Audi for an extra maybe 2 grand or so....

Also I would never never never ever get an S4 in Tiptronic IMO...I did that mistake with my A4 and highly regretted it....

BTW just to compare, my cousin bought a 2005.5 S4 in December, 6 Speed, black on black with 80k miles for $17,000! The car was a one owner and was just traded to Audi for a new RS4......it was in phenomenol shape too...

Good Luck!!

Gr330zhp- That seems like a great price for that car. However I get nervous with even 60k miles.

As for the auto, I had a 5 speed 05 mustang gt for about 6 months, loved the stick. I was thinking that the auto S4 with the paddles may be fun? I thought that it would be quite responsive, however I have never driven an S4, let alone a car with paddles. If you think it takes away from the performance aspect of the car then I'll start looking for a 6speed.
