I cannot find anything searching so I am trying to find someone who may have heard of the same problem. It has been right around 0 degrees the past week and when I started my car after a couple of days I noticed a large puddle of oil under it. When I opened the hood I have oil all over the front of the motor and I mean all over it the pulleys, belts, fan it was everywhere. It doesnt appear to be the oil cooler seal because that looks like its toward the bottom of the car so I would think the oil would leak directly to the ground. My question is can anyone tell me what else to check or where to look for leaks. I have heard the pcv freezing up but can anyone tell me where the oil might come out if that was the case?

sounds like your crank seal gasket. those are notorious leakers. have you had you timing belt changed lately? if not, i suggest doing that and replacing the seals while your in there.

could it be from your power steering? you could possibly have moisture in there and it froze/expanded and or cracked a hose
