I have an 01 S4 with over 100k on the odometer. I have a terrible vibration only upon accelleration. Its really violent and cant isolate to any one area. It doesnt happen at all when my foot is off the accelerator, regardless of speed. I went to these idiots a few weeks back who fixed my front cv joint but I didnt stop it, and I didnt really expect that was the problem. I have a great mechanic in North NJ, but I am 400 miles away right now. Does anyone have an idea? I was thinking driveshaft maybe? Any remedy that a novice wrench could exert to get me back to NJ?
