Default Any resolve?

My 2005 S4 has just thrown the same code as well as the coil malfunction code. The car ran fine last night, then I filled it up with fuel and now we have this problem. Given the prior discussion, I think it is related to either bad gas or moisture in the system. Anyone else resolve this issue?

Same problem with me. Just happened today. But I did not put new fuel into the system. I checked injectors, coil packs, spark plugs and still nothing changed. I only have a misfire with cylinder 4 though. No matter what I change I can't get it running right! Anyone figure out the solution before I go crazy?!?

Im still monitoring this thread, I've come to no solution myself. I took the car to diagnose and they can't find anything. One possibility is that i had a flash trial with REVO software, and from many people i heard it makes your car run worse after the 5 hour trial expires. Thats the only explanation i have so far.

Yesmar, how much did it cost you to get them replaced? I'm considering that possibility but not looking forward to paying the stealership the cash. Does anyone know if a decently experienced mechanic like myself can pull this repair off? Ugh, I'm about ready to sell my money pit!

it was 540 something they said they had to replace 2 or 3 i think, in the end i paid 700 i had to get the whole 50,000mile service, a once over on the car bumper to bumper, new spark plugs, oil, oil filter (stuff i do myself but they did it all anyway) they also threw in a nice chrome "Auid Sport" license plate frame, in the end 700. im not sure if it was 500 for the gaskets and 200 for the service or vice versa. Im not sure if YOU could diy i know i could'nt, but "decently experienced mechanic" yeah you most likely can, i would take a look at a diagram or try to find inst. just to have a glance at it first before you start, dont want to get half way done and have to tow it to a mechanic, trust me iv done that with a 93 subaru

Head Gaskets? My S4 is up at Audi Lexington, the service manager stated that the coils are recalled from Audi. I don't know what their going to do yet I'll know further monday. But if it has to go back for head gasket work after this nonsense I'm gonna be a bit chapped.
