My First Post
I know that there is a new member welcome post and I know it's nearly audacious of me to post here instead of there, but I have a question for you S4-heads. I used to own a 1991 Audi 90 Quattro. It was pearl white and my reason for living. :-p I LOVED that car. And I've since fallen in Love with audis in general. I now own a 1993 bmw 325i that I bought from a private party. Unfortunately, I'm not nearly as enthralled by this car. It's mediocre at best, not to mention that I got hosed in buying it. In any case, I'm looking at buying an S4. Namely this one:

Do any of you know how much/how difficult it would be to replace an ABS module?
Thanks so much guys.

Hey welcome to the forums. ABS modules are kind of expensive to install. I've heard prices as high as $1,000 for a new one. Might want to call around some junk yards for a used one. That price is WAY low. Is it a flood car or something?
I'm checking out local junkyards now. Any idea how difficult it would be to replace this myself? Too complicated for a DIY? I've done brake work before on my bimmer. But I've never messed with ABS stuff.

If it has a clean title. and everything then i say go for it, Have it checked by a mechanic and all but if it checked out and all tehta needs to be fixed is teh ABS then get it. Great deal even for 1000 thats still 13,000 for a s4. Very good price. How many miles on there?
