Default n00b here trying to help a buddy out

well today me and my buddy with his 2005 s4 went at it.

and i whooped him i have a 2002 wrx w/mods.

anyways, i really want to help him out because he's got cash, but he doesn't know too much about modding. i'd be able to help him, but i don't know much about audi modifications. i know that on a wrx, there are certain things to stay away from, which is quite possible here. Now correct me if i'm wrong, but the 2005 S4 has a 4.2L v8. i'd assume a cat-back and chip would be in order, but i don't really know from where. I would assume that beacuse his car is a 2005, and the b7? bodystyle, there isn't too much aftermarket for it yet. if there is, please direct me to it.

on the stock v8 s4 is around 220hp to the wheel stock and with the ecu flash the best one on the market right now is the giac and the revo they both have 244hp and extra 28 tq which i fogot what number was the tq that we did last time.
by the way is the car tip. or 6speed?? if is tip, u lookin at 239hp and u know different car different number plus with the cat back system u getting extra 9 to the wheel which is pretty good.

Important question:
Are you an STi or only WRX? If I'm right you've got about 220HP stock (WRX). With mods, maybe 270HP; if you did work on the turbos, maybe in the 300's. Am I right? So you may be evenly matched, HP vs. HP. This begs the question: is he a decent driver? Is he automatic or manual. If manual then it could be as easy as practicing his shifts. Driving a car hard takes a lot more concentration than casual daily driving. if automatic, then he could chip his tip (I like how that soudns).

Before you flame though, remember I'm just trying to help and understand where you guys are at now so that we as a community can help. I'm only assuming, so if I'm wrong (I'm wrong a lot) then please don't take anything I said as criticism.....
