Default My buddy's golf- died on him

I vag'ed it and came up with:

VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N

Control Module Part Number: 037 906 259 D

Component and/or Version: MOTRONIC M5.9 HS V09

Software Coding: 00000

Work Shop Code: WSC 00066

3 Faults Found:

17884 - EVAP Leak Detection Pump: Insufficient Vacuum

P1476 - 35-00 - -

00668 - Supply Voltage Terminal 30

07-10 - Signal to Low - Intermittent

17988 - Throttle Actuator (Bank 1): Malfunction

P1580 - 35-00 - -

Anyone have any ideas on what went wrong? It died graduaally and I'm thinking it might be the alternator but any input is appreciated!

Have you tested the voltage at the battery? With the car running & off. WHAT IS IT?

My guess is there is a ground problem. The car died, due to the throttle body not functioning.

I measured the voltage at the battery. 11.6 volts with the car off, 10.5 volts with the engine running - there's an issue there!

The battery is weak, unloaded voltage should be over 12v, usually it's around 12.6. It should be around 14.4 with the car running.
So yes, I would say the alt is not working properly.
