Is there a new version of the GIAC Chip - GIAC X Hammer? If so what are the additional gains compared to the older version?

 

i dont hink its new ive heard of it b4 but if there is then is should b the same power gain

 

Email GIAC with your rev # & find out. Most places will give you a free upgrade to a newer REV.

 

My shop has been suggesting I get the (free...shipping cost only) upgrade for a few weeks now (just haven't been able to afford not having the car for a few days)...I plan to do so in Mid-August. They say it aleviates the intitial rough idle after start-up and adds some mid-range power....(all great) - now if it only could fix my occasional misfires between 4K-5K I'd be set!
