Hi all,

My name is RB. I just joined the site and have been looking at s4's for almost a year now. I am about to get deployed to Iraq and figured I'd start doing research on potential cars to get when I get back. I currently drive a slooooow 03 sentra and would like to step it up. I am still searching thru a lot of these old threads on here to get a basic idea on what mods are best to get and the overall longevity of the s4 and its turbos. I would most likely end up getting an 00-02 as they are plentiful where I am. Any reviews on handling, driving impressions, quickness, and personal testimonials would be appreciated. Just wanted to introduce myself before i get back into diggin thru threads. Thanks all

I suggest you dig through the threads. Also do google search for magazine articles for these years and check Edmunds and stuff then perhaps come back and ask some specific questions that you still may need answering. Good luck in Iraq BTW - we just had a party for a buddy who was back home for a bit but returned (on his 3rd year) - he is a political guy though - no grunt or such. It won't be pretty - hopefully you will be stationed someplace quiet - perhaps you are in Air Force or the Navy eh? And can stay out on the perimeter...
