No Start and codes 16725 & 16730.

Here is what I got from my VAG-COM.

2 Faults Found:

16730 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G163): Implausible Signal

P0346 - 35-00 - -

16725 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40): Implausible Signal

P0341 - 35-00 - -

I replaced the cam sensors and crank sensor with ones from a buddies car. So these are known good parts. Also the cams do spin and the reluctor wheels on the end of the cams are installed right.

Any other ideas? please help!

 

Make sure your getting a signal from the engine speed sensor. Without that signal you wont get fuel pump operation.
