Default Noise when starting

I've got a B7 S4 and whenever I start it there's a noise that comes from the back end for a second or two. Hard to describe, but I'm assuming it's the fuel pump. Anyone else experience this?

Hey I'm not a newbie anymore. Woohoo! Grasshoppa has snatched the pebbles!

Oh mah, the sound. Hmm. Like a very rapid series of knocks, I guess. That's why I'm thinking the fuel pump - it's sounds like a pump that doesn't have liquid in it.

Listened to it again today. Sort of like a door creaking, but more mechanical obviously.

Yeah I would think it's the fuel pump, not sure what would cause it... does anyone know if they are diaphram pumps? My guess would be the spring then. But I'm not sure on the schematics (spl?).

In order to become a first gear member you must take over Korea using ONLY a diaper, one throwing star, and the book "To Kill a Mockingbird".
