Your car is running in limp mode. Is your check engine light on? I would take it to a shop, or to o'riely's and grab an obd2 Diagnostic tool and see what codes are being thrown.

Have you actually pressure tested to find leaks? The turbo will over spool to make up for a leak causing a premature failure. Start there.

make one of these: http://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/shar...ssure%20tester

10PSI to test it.

If you had a boost leak, it would spike greater than 5psi. It's sustaining 5psi max suggests that your car is in limp mode. If your obd2 tool isn't reading... Then go somewhere that will have something compatable. If any warning light in your car is flashing, then there is something more serious with whatever light is flashing. Your brake light will flash when you need to change your brake pads. Or maybe the sensor is bad or loose. I'm not sure about this, but I think if the car determines the breaking to not be suffecient, the car will go into safe mode. As far as your oil smelling like gasoline, I would change your oil and see if gas is somehow getting into the system... Which is doubtful. Some synthetic oils have a funny smell to them when they are hot. It could just be that. Gasoline in you oil would break down something fierce and destroy your engine.

a leaky injector would cause it to run rich but im pretty sure the gas would still burn off when the spark plug fired. are you smelling the gas on the dipstick tube or when you drain the oil?
