Default Owned - by a Crossfire!

Anyone have an update on a relatively affordable supercharger for the V8? I got blown away by a flippin' Crossfire and something needs to be done. I know the Audi is porky and takes a while to get off the line, but watching that thing pull 2 car lengths on me was pathetic.

ebay has them on sale if you want one. 20 bucks and you'll smoke anyone. i got beat by a stupid mazda 3 wagon the other day because i was in limp mode...thats a little more demeaning. crossfires have a motorized spoiler that pops up when you reach 60...you cant beat that

If it's any consolation, you were probably running against a CrossfireSRT-6 that is driven by this Merc engine. It may say chrysler on the badge, but it's light, and it's got a Mercedes AMG heart, so I'd say there's nothing to be ashamed of.

Unless it wasn't an SRT-6, in which case, we wont tell a soul!

You definitely were against an SRT. No shame in that. If it had a spoiler than it was the supercharged version. It has about the same power as yours and weighs less, if you launched hard you may have stayed with him better.

No big deal. Don't they have a software update for the S4?

I had some sort of Hyundai keep up with me one night, don't feel bad. lol

Yeah it was an SRT, i have driven the standard crossfire..........its nothing that amazing. A stock 4.2l S4 should dust it with no problems. Anything of an SRT breed is a stright line beast. I drove a chrysler 300 SRT-8 and it was brutal from 0 to 60.
