just pokin around my engine today and noticed excess oil leaks around my bpv and my y pipe and back up underneath. i cant really figure out where its coming from. maybe a vaccum leak maybe? they're all in different spots so i doubt they're related but ya never know. they're all obviously over time nothin major but if its something i can fix i'd like to. one last thing. how the heck do you disconnect the ypipe to that valve thing right there?

 

your question about the pcv line connected to the Ypipe, you pinch the two ends of the round plastic circle that have the groves on it and pull away from the connection, but be careful bc it can break easily.

 

i shall be careful then. still gotta do my valve cover gasket replacements and i keep coming up with excuses not to do it and i think thats the last excuse other than i dont wanna

 

Are you going to change the cam tensioner gaskets when you change the valve cover gasket? I need to change my valve cover but not sure if I will change the cam tensioner gaskets, I have heard that is a little more involved.

 

yea i dont know for sure which one i need to replace so i bought both. i also got the special tool off ebay for like 20 bucks i think
