It hits 19 - 20 psi in 5th and 5th gear just over 3,000 rpm. So in that case your statement doesn't make sense.

 

decent idea... I doubt its quite right though.. your turbo doesnt just set its boost to a certain ratio.. It just builds based on the pressure. I dont really know the answer... My thought is that it gets through the gears faster early on and isnt able to build all that pressure.. But i really dont know..
