Question about downpipes for S4

I just got my piggie downpipes in yesterday and i took it to the shop and they said that i am going to have to pull my engine to put them on, and its going to cost $750.00 to put them on!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there any way that u can put them on without pullin the engine? thanks

BS, Might cost $750 but there is no way it require pulling the motor. Why dont you just do it yourself. its not all that bad. Bout 8 hours or so.

My bad, he said that he would have to drop the rear of the engine, does that sound right?

Im almost positive thats the way most people do it since its the easiest.

You dont drop the motor, tranny or anything else. 4 bolts on each turbo, 3 on the bottom side, 1 on the top. Top ones are hardest. Once those are off, 4 O2 sensors. Take the wires on the back 2, add 12 inches of wire to them so they will reach the relocated bungs. install is the exact opposite.
