question for Motronic gurus
I believe I've found a car to buy, but I thought of a question. The car is a 2002 S4 and has a chipped ecu, and the seller is including a seperate stock ecu as well. I live at about 5400 feet. So, does the ecu have altitude adjustment? If so, is it automatic? Is there a "learning period" for any adaptive technologies in the ecu? Just wondering what to expect. Okay...so that was a few questions, but you get what I'm asking.
It will be fine, the car will auto adjust.
However, it does push the turbo's more up that high, so you will see higher oil temps, if you are going to push the car, BUY A OIL COOLER!

Okay good deal. About how long is the adjustment period? Are there any special driving instructions during this time?
