i'm stationed in utah and i drive a 2000 honda civic si which doesnt do good in snow. i found a 2001 s4 with 42k in a dealership that has a rebuilt title. i really want that car, i love speed and european cars, just never got enough money to buy one, and also the quattro system would be real nice now in the winter. the S4 retails at about $24,000.00 but the dealer's asking $14,000.00 (rebuilt title). the car's still damaged, it's going to be ready in one month from now and i'm really serious about purchasing it. from the research i've done i realized that s4's dont have as many reliability problems as most a4's do. for those that are mechanically inclined, is this worth the purchase? should i expect a lot of things going wrong with the car? do any of you have a rebuilt s4? and if you do, have you been satisfied with the car? did it break down a lot? any suggestion would greatly help and probably save me a lot of money.
