Default Rpms are bobbing

When I am going about a steady 30 mph the rpms in my B5 S4 go up and down, back and forth until I start to coast or press the throttle more. What could it be? Vacuum leak?

Thanks for any input you may have!

sounds more like a boost leak, but you should change out all your vacuum lines just to be on the safe side. pick up a couple feet at autozone.

Are there a lot of vacuum lines? Are they hard to get to?

not really. its all the rubber lines that connect to the dv's for the most part. very easy.

Hey Fonzo, Mine does the same thing and I just replaced all my lines trying to figure out why I had no power. I figured it was the computer doing whatever it pleases. What else could it be?

when this happened to me, the first time, it ended up being a tear in the throttle body boot. the second time it was my maf getting gunked up.
