I am thinking about purchasing either a 2005 or 2007 S4 avant and I have a few questions:

1. is there any major differences in performance in the 2005 and 2007 in terms of acceleration and handling?

2. is there any large maintenance concerns I should know about?

3. these have about 40k in miles on them, is that too much?

4. How long do these things last in terms of mileage? could I get 100k out of an 05 and an 07?

Thank you for your help. It is of my mine that these things will last as long as you take care of them, I just wanted to hear it from the mouths of the experts to re-assure myself. I believe the rims on the 05 are much nicer, but I notice it only has two exhaust pipes while the 07 has four, leading me to believe the 07 is much faster and higher grade performance vehicle.
