Audi had to offer huge factory rebates inorder to sell the limited number of RS6s they brought to the states. This is the reason why the new RS6 is not coming to the states because there wasnt a market for the 03 version and they dont want to get stuck with the short end of the stick again. If anything, it is far from the vehicle that turned Audi around.

Go for it!! The only thing that I dont like about the RS6 is that it only came as a Tiptronic...but it is an amazing machine!!!
BTW only the B5 A4/S4 turned Audi around!! Nothing else!

I'd go with the RS6. I have a 2002 A6 2.7T and I would sell mine if I could and get a RS6 but I'm starting a new business in 2 months. There is a dark blue 2003 RS6 for only $27,900 at a dealership called Denny Dotson here in the Columbus, Ohio area. Check it out. www.Dennydotson.com
They also have a 94 Supra turbo with super low miles but it is $37,000 and it's red. I hate red cars. Supra is my next project. Put a chip in a RS6 for $2500 and you have a 520hp 535tq beast that will keep up with stock 2001 Vette Z06s and older Vipers.
